Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 7:20 discussing God’s way to victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil. God will give every believer all that he or she needs when we place our faith exclusively in the finished work of Calvary; this is how the sin nature remains dormant in a life. Until the trump sounds, then and only then, will the sin nature be totally eradicated. Until then, the Lord can use the sin nature as a disciplinary tool to reveal to every believer the importance of standing fast in the finished work of Christ. When our faith is anchored in Christ alone the Holy Spirit will have His way in leading us through a victorious Christian life this side of heaven.
