We cannot earn salvation, or be rehabilitated from sin in our lives. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss exclusive faith and the mission of Satan to draw believers away from the truth of the gospel. Only the death of Jesus Christ can pay the debt for fallen man’s sin; no other death can justify us, and we ourselves can workout our forgiveness and salvation by any amount of good deeds. Penance is not of God, and there is no rehabilitation of the heart. Jesus Christ has a regeneration program; when we believe on His finished work on the Cross, we are restored, not rehabilitated. Galatians 6:1.
