Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how all hope of the flesh must die. We must not have any hope in our abilities, capabilities, education, craftiness, or our willpower, for all hope of the flesh must die. We are to die daily for Jesus’ sake so that the life of Christ might be made manifest in our bodies. In the world today, we find many who repress the truth in unrighteousness. They push away the truth that has been revealed to them. When this happens, the wrath of God, doesn’t come down in the form of a lightening bolt and destroy men, but what happens is we are turned us over to the power of sin.
