We are dead to the law by the body of Christ. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 7:4 discussing waiting on the Lord. The Law of Moses shows us our sinfulness and condemns us. We in the flesh are weak and unable to satisfy the demands of the law. God sent His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh for sin to condemn sin in the flesh that we might be able to do the righteousness of God to them that believe on His finished work and that alone. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Faith in the Cross of Christ liberates, and sets the captive free.
