Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss David, and the God called men that were to be his helpers in the war. Those men were just ordinary men, and most of them were in debt, or facing prison; but they became David’s mighty men. The anointing of the Holy Spirit, on any called believer will be the same. We must seek God for His will and call for our lives, and then it is our faithfulness to that call that makes us to shine like the sun in God’s army. Brother Swaggart says we are encouraged by the Word of God, that the wise shall shine as the brightness as the firmament, and turn many to righteousness, that when we are in Christ, and have the anointing of the Holy Spirit, there is something very bright, something very attractive about us that is recognizable even to the unsaved.
