Most Christians will say their faith is in Christ and not in law and good works. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss faith in self versus faith in God. Believers are called to deny self and take up the finished work of Christ on the Cross daily. The panel discusses the power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit that falls on the preaching of the gospel. When His truth, of His finished work is preached, the Spirit will draw man’s heart to seek the things of God. At the Cross, Christ paid a very high price for fallen humanity, He alone sets the captive free.
