The Holy Spirit gives honor and glory to God and points man to the great work of Christ on the Cross. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the power of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life. At salvation, we receive all we need to live a holy life, as the Holy Spirit leads and works in a life when our faith in anchored in the Cross. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, is a second subsequent work that can come into a believer’s life and bring the infilling power of the Spirit, resulting in speaking in tongues, and does so much, including ushering the believer into service. The Spirit brings power in a life, and draws men to Christ. This is the promise of the Spirit that came forth on the Day of Pentecost.
