God allows the believer to go through a testing to build their faith. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Romans 3:14. The purpose of the law is to show man how lost we are; the law exposes sin. Today we see many church movements taking people away from the accountability of God, and we see self being made more accountable. Brother John says we can’t be justified by what we do, meaning we cannot workout our own forgiveness or do penance for the sins we commit. Only Jesus Christ can forgive us of sin and transform us when we believe on His blood alone to wash us and make us white as snow. Nothing in my hands I bring, only to the Cross I cling.
