Satan is full of tricks to pull people away from the ways of God. He even used scripture to tempt Jesus in the wilderness. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the wiles of the devil who has successfully deceived multitudes since his fall. Satan uses some truth to get us to bite onto his hook, and then he reels people away from the truth of God. The value of the Cross of Christ needs to be lifted up in the church so the lost can know the true way to be saved from sin and self. Brother John warns preachers to not add leaven to the blood of Jesus, which is the only acceptable sacrifice. Believing on the finished work of Jesus Christ is the only way to live a victorious Christian life.
