Every believer needs the comforter, which is the Holy Spirit. Today on A Study In The Word, Brother Swaggart and the panel share how David couldn’t have killed the giant without the help of the Holy Spirit. Brother Bob says the other meanings for comforter are counselor, helper, advocate, intercessor, strengthener and stand by. He will help us in any area of our lives, that is, if we want it. Brother Bob says many believers need to be taught that the Holy Spirit will help. Jesus said, I stand at the door at knock.
