Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 8:18; now, as He was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face towards the ground; but He touched me and set me upright. Daniel sensed his tremendous unworthiness, especially in such presence; but the Lord, is able to turn our situations around. When we find ourselves on the ground, so to speak, the Holy Spirit can lift us up. Can you imagine what Peter felt, in John chapter 21 after he betrayed the Lord, and he went fishing, back to his old life, in a sense? Yet, the Lord went where he was, and performed a miracle very similar to the one in which he was originally called. He told him, feed my sheep, feed the lambs. The blood of Christ, shed at Calvary cleanses from all sin. The Lord was clear, don’t call unclean, what I have cleansed; Brother Swaggart says this is a very dangerous place to be.
