What are you setting your mind on? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss what it means to be spiritually minded. We are spiritually minded when our faith is anchored on Christ and the Cross. We are carnally minded when we are looking to everything else other than Christ. Carnal means flesh, so to be minded carnally, results in our flesh trying to sanctify ourselves by successfully walking out our Christian lives by our own efforts. The Lord wants us to make the Cross of Christ the object of our faith constantly. It must be higher over our desires and works of our own hands, then and only then will the Holy Spirit work on our behalf to transform us into the image of Christ.
