The minute we come to Christ, we are positioned in the sphere of the Spirit. We are right where the Spirit of God will immediately begin to work on us. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how the believer has to be very careful not to begin to ascribe to self for victory. We must not become carnally minded, trying to work out our Christianity in spiritual disciplines. When we are spiritually minded, through the power of Holy Spirit, we find life and peace. Our faith must be anchored in the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross, and then the Holy Spirit will do as God sees fit in our life and living.
