Faith and grace are the means by which God works. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how a believer falls under law if he or she tries to live any other way outside of faith in the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. The only way to live a victorious Christian life is to believe on Him. Our body is dead because of sin, and we can’t count on our flesh. Reading Romans 8:10, the panel explains how even after salvation, we cannot, in and of ourselves, bring about the victory that we seek. He won every conflict we face at the Cross, and all that is required of us is to believe on Him and He’ll do the rest.
