The heart of a person is at the root of all evil, for the body is dead because of sin. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 8:10, discussing the sin nature every human being is born with. All too often people are wrongly taught that man has something to do with their salvation. The panel discusses the false teachings of the Word of Faith doctrine, and how man cannot manufacture their own words to bring those words to fruition into their lives or into existence. All sinful man must do is repent of sin, and say yes to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Christ atoned for all sin on Calvary’s Cross. The blood is enough; for faith in Christ’s finished work gives the Spirit of God the latitude to produce life inside of every believer.
