Jesus came to this world to die; and He died for a purpose. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 8:11 discussing how the believer can frustrate the grace of God. To have the full measure of what the Holy Spirit wants to do for us, we must settle it in our minds that the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross is the only answer for our problem with sin. We cannot fulfill the traditions of the church, or self-efforts to work out victory over our problems. It is faith in Jesus Christ and Him crucified alone, and then the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf to live a victorious Christian walk.
