Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discussing the power of preaching the gospel. We preach the Word, but the Holy Spirit is the one who draws people to Christ and they respond to that preaching. Primarily, that is usually how someone comes to the Lord, but the Holy Spirit can convict someone’s heart when they are out on a job, or when they are at home, or whatever. He is the one who draws people to Jesus. He’s the one who regenerates; when we preach the Word in obedience to God, it is His Spirit that draws, and His Spirit that convicts peoples hearts, and then people respond to that.
