Daniel was wiser than Satan. Today Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Daniel 5:13, as Daniel was brought in before the King. It seems, Belshazzar had never met Daniel. He had heard of his wisdom, yet Belshazzar had not consulted him one time. He had access to the greatest wisdom on the face of the earth, regarding what should be done, and what should not be done according to the Word of God. Believers are the light of the world, and the salt of the earth. The illumination and the preservative. Brother Swaggart says unfortunately, those that know the Lord, are very seldom ever salted. Belshazzar ignored the access he had to Daniel’s fountain of knowledge. The call goes out to the unbeliever, as well as the Christian, we must come to the end of ourselves and seek the Lord and His wisdom in all things.
