The Cross must ever be the centerpiece of the Christian’s life. Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, learned from Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego about their God, Jehovah; and how God advanced them. This is the second time that something super natural has happened where the God of the Israelites has proven Himself miraculous and powerful to this Monarch. The panel discusses true faith today, and how a believer must anchor their faith in the Cross of Jesus Christ, and there can experience the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit. Brother Larson, explains the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. Brother Swaggart says every born again believer should seek this second work, a wonderful gift from God. The Cross makes the Holy Spirit available to us, and the Holy Spirit is here to bring glory to Christ.
