Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how Jesus who had no sin, died for the sin of all mankind. When a sinner believes on Christ’s death at Calvary, it gives us victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil. He paid our debt to God; that we might have life, and might have it more abundantly. He did it by giving Himself as a sacrifice on the Cross. Nothing is greater than that. Brother Swaggart says this ministry is accused at times of making too much of the Cross; he says that is like a man who is on the verge of dying and is laboring to breathe and somebody says you are making too much of breathing. The resurrection should be viewed as the evidence that the crucifixion was sufficient to pay for all sins for all time.
