Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how the believer is to function in grace and stay dead to all forms of law. The Holy Spirit is not available to us under law. Only by placing and maintaining our faith in the finished work of Christ can the Holy Spirit work on our behalf. We can’t please God by law keeping. Many believers have been wrongly taught that they must “do” in church. We must learn the government of grace as which we approach our relationship with God. Dead to the law is how we operate in the government of grace, which gives us the power to do so by the Holy Spirit and then we will find victory and be able to walk out this Christian life as God has intended for us.
