Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the New Covenant we have in Christ Jesus, reading from the Book of Romans. Brother Swaggart says the New Covenant is the greatest work that humanity has ever known, seen, witnessed, or experienced; that is, what Christ did on Calvary’s Cross. Jesus came to satisfy the law. Every part of the law pointed to Him; but at this point, all the old law had to be set aside. It had served its purpose. Its purpose was to prepare the world for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. This revelation, put before Paul, to deliver to the people was difficult, but he did not fail. He held true and demanded that the truth be not weakened or hindered.
