PREPARING OURSELVES FOR THE GLORY OF GOD- What does this preparation look like? Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan reads 2nd Chronicles 5:11-14 teaching on the importance of praise and gratitude towards God. Following the offering and acceptance of sacrifices in the Old Covenant, when the priest would reappear out of the Holy Place, there was the sound of praise and thanks given to the LORD. There were voices lifted up, along with sounds of trumpets, cymbals and many other instruments of music. This was rejoicing in the goodness of the Lord and confirming that His mercy endures forever; then, the house was filled with a cloud, which speaks of the glory of God. Pastor Paris asks, what in your life would you change if you knew that Jesus would return today? What would you stop doing? What would you start doing? How would you prepare? The bible teaches the believer, we should be prepared for that moment every second of every day.
