WHATEVER THE NEED, GOD’S GOT IT— Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from Philippians 4:19. But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. The Apostle Paul’s first convert in Macedonia was a woman whose name was Lydia, a businesswoman, a seller of purple. It didn’t take long before Paul founded a church there. Pastor Gabe says four characteristics regarding the church of Philippi stand out. The first being, it was predominantly made up of Gentiles with only a few Jews. The second characteristic was that women played an important role in the church of Philippi; they were known as co-laborers. The last two characteristics of the church of Philippi were that they were loyal and generous. Pastor Gabe reminds us, when the true gospel is going forth, and we co-labor in that, and give to that, He will supply all our needs. God knows our every need, and He can take care of it, however big or small.
