DON’T QUIT- We are called to grow in the grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan preaches on the life of Peter, reading from John 21:6-9 and 2nd Peter 3:18. He shows us the progress of Peter understanding God’s truth through Calvary. Peter was shown great revelations, but yet he had great failures in his life. Jesus knew every single mistake that Peter would make, and He still said Follow Me. Pastor Paris says Jesus does the same with us. There is nothing we can do that He will not forgive. Even though we may be struggling to wrap our minds and hearts around the finished work of Calvary, in the meantime, Jesus will not give up on us. It matters to God about us. Pastor Paris says keep searching for God’s truth and the victory found at Calvary. The message of the Cross is how we find liberty and freedom from sin. God sees our desire to learn as we draw nearer to Him. If we don’t quit, God won’t quit on us. Our confusion is not exclusion. He loves and cares for us.
