REJOICE, DON’T WORRY, AND KEEP YOUR MINDS ON CHRIST PART II- Paul would say let your moderation be known unto all men. Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart encourages us with the understanding of the word moderation. As we are to be like Christ, meaning that when those despitefully use us and come against us, we don’t have to retaliate. We pray for them, and be kind to them regardless. We don’t necessarily trust them, but we love them. Why, because while we were yet sinners, God loved us enough to send His Son down to earth to die for us. He showed His love toward us by paying the debt we owed. The greatest display of love that’s ever been is the Cross. Pastor Gabe says the least we can do is show that same love to someone else by praying for our enemies.
