WHEN YOU PRAY, NOT IF- Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan reads Matthew 6:16-18 teaching how believers must believe God for a move of His mighty power in these desperate times. We need God to pour out His spirit on the earth and bring in a great harvest. Pastor Paris says, historically, when believers pray and fast, God moves. This is not to gain anything from God; it’s to declare to God, I need you to move. It’s a declaration of faith. Non-believers don’t pray if they don’t have faith, but we who have faith, pray. We will seek the face of God, and cry out in prayer and fasting to see Him move. In mourning, desperation, and seeking understanding, God will pour out His Spirit. These things are placed in our hearts when we believe on the finished work of Calvary; they are not works, but declarations of our faith, in Christ alone and our need for Him.
