THE PRIVATE LIFE OF THE BELIEVER- Today at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan reads Matthew 6:5-13, teaching on the need for righteousness in the believer's life. But this is a righteousness that can only be found by faith, in Christ Jesus, because we must live in the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ. His righteousness is without fault, without blemish. Pastor Paris says even in our Christian disciplines of giving, prayer, and fasting, we’re instructed not to do it as hypocrites. We’re instructed to do it in secret, and our Father who is in secret will see what we do, and He will reward us publicly. We need a righteousness that doesn't seek the reward of men, but that’s trying to gain the rewards of Heaven; this is a secret life, not a life manifested among people, but will be rewarded by God. Seek His face, and He will manifest all that is good and right in our Christian walks.
