THE CITY OF JERUSALEM— Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Paris Ragan preaches from II Samuel 5:6. For seven plus years, King David reigned in Hebron before going to Jerusalem, here he reflects on Joshua leading the children of Israel into the Promise Land. Joshua was a type of Jesus Christ. Joshua hands out the inheritance, and to the Tribe of Judah, David’s Tribe, receiving a land inheritance which borders include the city of Jerusalem. Brother Ragan asks, do we remember when our heavenly Christ led us out of bondage and into our Promise Land of salvation? Like the children of Israel who could not drive out the Jebusites in the land of Promise; we too, after salvation, may find a fight for victory over sin. But be encouraged, when we anchor our faith in the Cross of Christ, sin shall not have dominion over us.
