ARE WE ALLOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT TO CHANGE US?— Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from the Book of Galatians on the finished work of Jesus Christ, and warns of the detriment of having just a head knowledge of it over a heart knowledge. We can be sure, if the Message of the Cross is working in our lives there will be a change in us. Brother Gabe says we need to get our eyes off of others and onto ourselves, allowing the Holy Spirit to go to work in making us into the image of Christ. We need sanctification that only the Message of the Cross can bring. The Lord made a way for our daily walks to be pleasing to Him. The Holy Spirit gives us long-suffering, gentleness, and goodness with regards to our treatment of others; just as God was patient with us. It takes time to learn, to live, and to get the message of the Cross down deep in our hearts.
