But God, but God; God is still on the throne. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read 1 Samuel 8:4-22; likening these Biblical times of Samuel to the happenings going on in our nation today. Brother Smith says the people then would not obey God’s instructions through the voice of Samuel. They wanted a king like that of the other evil nations. God said to Samuel, how long will you mourn for these disobedient people; Samuel, fill your horn with oil, and go. We’re living in a time when the people and government want to take from some to give to others. This is Socialism/Communism, and it is not Biblical to steal from some to give to those that are covetous. This is the day we are living in; but be sure, God will work in the worst of circumstances. Pastor Bob and Sharon Cornell called in to share their experience in Washington as they joined in the rally of believers to pray for the fraudulent state elections and the certification proceedings by Congress. God cares about America; watch, pray, and believe. Jesus Christ is our hope.
