Man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss the power of prayer and praise as we see the ongoing trials before us. Brother Josh reads Psalm 6:1-10 encouraging us, that we can look to the Lord alone for all our needs. His help and mercy will come when our soul is vexed. Brother Josh explains how vexed is a deep groaning, a grieving; it can lead to fear and depression if we do not give it to the Lord. The Lord hears our supplications. But for this cause, the Lord came to bear our needs. The panel discusses the first of six hearings, addressing what happened at the January 6th insurrection at the Capitol. Brother Josh says he feels the majority of the hearing’s focus was on Donald Trump, attempting to set up a narrative against Trump with hopes of preventing him from running for President or any public office ever again.
