There is authority over the land and their is the authority of God. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read Titus 2:15 and 3:1 discussing how the believer is subject to laws and authority of the land. Brother Donnie says Civil government is of God, He instituted it, but it should never cause us to go against the Word of God. If it does, we should not submit to it. We will not compromise our voice, but must teach the Word as truth must go out. We should do our part to facilitate good government by voting and running for office. The panel discusses the very creation and conscience of man is present to reveal to sinful man our need for a Savior. Scripture says the grace of God can get this truth to all mankind with the leading of the Holy Spirit. The panel goes on to explain end time events with the coming rapture of the church before the tribulation and the second coming of Christ.
