Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss how after Christ’s resurrection He went to Paradise and gathered all the believers, who had died, and took them to heaven. This is where the Bible says, He took captivity captive. Now, when a believer dies our soul and Spirit will go to heaven, and our body goes to the dust of the earth. When the rapture occurs, we will get our glorified bodies. Brother Gray reminds that we should never leave the Cross of Christ; what Christ did there is for salvation and for growth in our Christian journey. The Apostle Paul was clear that we must preach Christ Crucified. Brother Smith says Jesus was clear, in Luke 9:23, we must deny self and pick up His Cross daily and follow Him. This means having a relationship with Jesus, not following a format of religion.
