Every feast and festival of old, like Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Trumpets all have been fulfilled in Christ. Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel explain how believers now have a New Covenant in Christ, which is based on better promises. The traditions of Judaism must not be emphasized or practiced today as they are in some Hebraic Roots Movement. Jesus said, “It is finished” on Calvary’s Cross. We are not Jewish, and the requirements of the law are finished. To attempt to fulfill the law is wrong in every way. Any attempt to tie Judaism into Christianity is an insult to the completed work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross, as well as, it is also insulting to Christians who are trying to reach Jews with the gospel.
