Jesus said, occupy until I come. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss Mark 5:25-28. Brother Donnie encourages us with the story of the ailing woman in the bible who pressed through the crowd to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment. We are reminded here that it takes our faith to reach out and touch Him. Many others, in the crowd that day, likely needed a healing too, but she reached out for Jesus. With the climate of churches being closed, or at least reduced in gathering size, due to COVID19 regulations, the church now, more than ever, needs to believe that God is still a God of miracles. Brother Smith says God needs us to be a powerful remnant. Sister Swaggart encourages us to dig into the Word of God like never before and find truth for ourselves. We must be ready for Christ’s return; knowing that when we lack wisdom, knowledge, and discernment, the door can open for the devil to sneak in and cause us to reject truth. So beware, for even a Christian’s soul can be at risk when their Spiritual eyesight is dimmed by false doctrine.
