Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read Joel 3:1-4 explaining the “Palestine” here in scripture, and how this is not modern Palestine as we know it today. Dr. Dupree explains how Palestine, biblically is a region in Israel, with Tyre and Zidon as focal cities, made up of nomadic tribes that travelled throughout the area. This is not what is called Palestine today in the Gaza Strip. The terrorist group Hamas governs this area. The original Philistines, called Palestinians today, came in from the Aegean Sea region. God gave this land to Israel.(Genesis 12:1-3). If the Israeli Defense Forces back off now, this war against terrorism will never end, but only escalate around the world.
