Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss using scripture to interpret scripture; likewise, the panel shares scripture confirming that believers are not to drink alcohol. (Habakkuk 2:15) Dr. DuPree adds, just today the US Surgeon General put out statistics showing alcohol is linked to seven different kinds of cancers. Brother Donnie points out, if the Lord had turned the 12 barrels of water into literal alcoholic wine at the wedding in Cana, all in attendance would have been plastered and that would have been a sin.
