God has a plan and a purpose for every believer’s life. He is a good shepherd and will lead His sheep out of the valley. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read Exodus 14:10-16, showing how God delivered the Israelites by way of the Red Sea, out of Egyptian bondage. He will make a way of escape. The Israelites only had to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Brother Smith says we still serve the same God today; even though things in our nation look bleak, God is working in all the circumstances that discourage us. He hears our prayers. The panel discusses the ending of the Book of Malachi and what happened between that time and the beginning of the New Testament. Brother Steele says we see Malachi ends with a prophecy, and the New Testament opens with fulfillment of that prophecy. This was a timeframe of preparation; Israel, and the world of that day, was being prepared for the coming Messiah.
