When a believer dies, the body returns to the dust and the soul and Spirit go to heaven to be with the Lord. When the rapture happens, the physical body will be resurrected and recombined back with the soul and Spirit in heaven. 2 Corinthians 5:6 Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss the false idea of soul sleep. The panel also discusses the thought of spending eternal life with Christ Jesus or spending eternal life in hell. Jesus says He will guide you when you feel a test of the Spirit. Brother Donnie offers 1 John 4:1-6 and Acts 17:10-11. He says the Spirit will prove all things and a believer must go to the Word of God with every test, as scripture must prove scripture.
