What does faith do? Does it become weak in trials, or does it become bolder when tested? Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss Mark 7:24-30 and how the Lord looks for faith. Jesus went into a Gentile country, finding there a Greek woman’s daughter who had an unclean Spirit; the mother, asking Jesus to cast her daughter’s devil out. In response to her request, Jesus says, let the children first be filled, for it is not meet to take the children’s bread and cast it unto dogs. She responds, yet Lord, even the dogs, under the table, eat of the children’s crumbs. Brother Donnie says we see here how Jesus looks for hearts that will believe on Him. Faith must be tested and challenged; when faith is left dormant, it will fall back. There is no neutral in our faith growing in the Lord; there should be an ever going forward, seeking more of Him.
