A Christian cannot be demon possessed. We cannot be controlled by the Holy Spirit, and a demon spirit, at the same time. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss demon possession and deliverance ministries. Brother Donnie says most of the ministries today, claiming to be deliverance ministries, are a farce. The panel discusses the bondage of the sin nature, which is real. There is a need for deliverance from various sins in a Christian's life, but demons can only possess an unsaved person. Sister Swaggart says the believer must be wise and know they can be oppressed by darkness. Jesus Christ is our deliverer from all that keeps us from living a victorious Christian life. Reading Luke 9:39-42, and Mark chapter nine, we see what happened when Jesus cast out a demon in a young boy who was foaming at the mouth before his deliverance by Christ. This is not vomiting as some would claim. Brother Donnie says we do not see vomiting in the Bible with regards to the casting out of demons.
