We must take our problems to the Lord, and let Him work on our behalf. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss the murmuring and complaining written about in Jude 16. Believers can be drawn away, or swayed, from the things of God by a wrong flattery; it’s vanity, all done to get something from a person. Brother Donnie says this is called honoring face to get something in return. In 2nd Peter, the Bible says all things must be found in life and godliness; tradition is not to come before scripture. Brother Smith reminds us of Ephesians 2:8-9, by grace through faith are we saved, not by works; and Colossians 2:10 says we are complete in Him. Heaven and earth shall pass away but His Word shall live forever.
