The Cross must be at the center of everything we do. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss legalism in the church. Brother Smith says making our own laws of “right living” for sanctification and righteousness result in pride, as man wants some kind of recognition for the changes in our lives. Legalism is adding things to God’s Word that God did not say. The laws made by men will not result in victory in a life. The panel answers an email regarding low and high self esteem and what the Word of God has to say about it. Brother Smith says the best response to those who have self esteem struggles, is to ask, who am I in Christ?
