Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel answer the question, why in the rapture do the dead in Christ rise first before those believers who are still alive? Those who have died, before the rapture, already have their souls and spirits with the Lord; now, they will receive their glorified bodies. Next, believers still alive will see their souls and spirits go to be with the Lord, and they will receive their glorified bodies. This is the glorification of the saints. Brother Donnie says the resurrection of Christ was the down payment of the resurrection to come. In heaven, all the glorified saints will be worshiping Christ around the throne. Our hope is in Christ and Him alone. The panel discusses the role of Mary and the false teaching that incorrectly describes her as the mother of God.
