Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel welcome special guest Evangelist and Vietnam Purple Heart recipient, Dave Roever and his wife Beth Ann, and Dan Dang with the Roever Evangelistic Association. Brother Roever shares his amazing story of survival after an enemy sniper shot a hand grenade off in Brother Roever’s hand right near his face. The panel discusses what military families and their spouses go through with the loss of life and living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Brother Roever explains what PTSD is to one who suffers with it. It is a normal reaction to an abnormal situation, but it never ends. Dr. Dan Dang shares the progress of the Vietnamese and Hmong translation bibles going out through the Roever Ministry and SBN partnership. The first printing of the Vietnamese New Testament is expected at a 60-thousand Study Bibles that will touch some one-hundred thousand people. The Hmong study bibles will have Vietnamese and Hmong languages combined, with the entire bible translation to follow. US Border patrol agents have also been added to the long list of those that these ministries will be given Expositor Study Bible New Testaments.
