The Book of Psalms is a book of prophecy and speaks of Christ and His finished work. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read Psalms 1:1-6. Brother Donnie says these six verses sum up the whole Christian experience, and how man will have blessing when his faith is placed in Christ. If we refuse Christ, we will only find misery. As believers, we are to match our lives to that which the Bible stands for. The panel discusses President Trump’s signing of the COVID stimulus, relief package, despite his breakdown of foreign aid that he felt should be removed from the package. Brother Smith says this is a package full of strategy with only a small portion of relief money going to America. Brother Donnie says this is a waste of government money going to other countries which is nothing new; such spending is done on purpose to keep America in debt. Unfortunately, President Trump’s hands were tied in the matter, knowing that Americans need financial help due to the pandemic shutdowns.
