WILL YOU BE MADE WHOLE? Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart kicks off our 2022 Family Camp, reading from John 5:1-9. In this story of healing at the Pool of Bethesda, there is a very rich lesson to consider. Pastor Gabe points out how we are all sick, lame, and blind until we are made whole by the saving power of Jesus Christ. Sin knows no limits. Here, we see the lame man not seeking Jesus, but seeking help from men to be physically put in the water to be healed. Jesus asks the man, and every one of us, “Will you be made whole?” It was this man’s lack of opportunity, and not his desire that left him outside of the healing waters. Even in the midst of our sin and despair, Jesus sees us and draws us. This man got up and walked immediately. He was Spiritually healed before his physical need was met. When we repent, and believe on Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are healed; He will make us whole.
