21-Aug-2021
Today on The Generation of the Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professors Adam Denoon and Dr. David Watts. Brother Gabe also welcomes his dear friend, via Skype, Evangelist Jonathan Shuttlesworth from Pittsburg Pennsylvania. When asked about COVID’s effect on his ministry, he reminds that the Bible tells us we should be meeting more often than less often as we see the coming of the Lord approaching; and he says, nobody from the CDC gets to override that command. Persecution is a platform for blessing. Blessed are you when you’re persecuted for my name’s sake. There’s no way to stand for the gospel and go backward. When you stand, I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. He says this last year in his ministry, even with COVID, it has been awesome to see God’s power touch so many people, and it’s not stopping.
