Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by SBN Director Chad Mansur, discussing the Dispensation of Human Government; this during the time when the rains of Noah’s flood came to an end. After leaving the Ark, Noah and his family offered sacrifices unto the Lord. The Lord’s command to them was to repopulate the earth through Noah’s three sons. They were given authority over the animal and plant Kingdom. In Genesis 9:4, scripture says man is not to eat or drink blood; because blood in sacrifices typified the great atonement of Christ shedding His blood for all humanity. Brother Gabe says when Jesus rose from the dead, He had no blood in Him because it was all poured out on Calvary’s Cross; the Holy Spirit is now His life source. Just as at salvation, our life source goes from blood to the Holy Spirit. Brother Chad points out, here God is restoring the respect of life, despite all the death they just witnessed. There is a sanctity of human life. We are God’s highest creation, greater than the angels; thus, the further we stray from God, the less valuable life becomes.
